New Lease on Life.

I was stressed by a drive into Penrose to get Judys Laptop fixed. After lunch I wanted to get at the garden but did not have it.  However I did!!! in my slippers that wasnt wise.  I hacked and hewed away at creepers for  a while, then got saws and boots for some serous hacking. After 3 hours I felt good, but boy was I tired.

Temple

Jesus refers to himself as a temple. They have many rooms. Our souls likewise. That got me thinking of identifying and opening doors to rooms of my own soul by writing an autobiography for my own personal satisfaction......and chagrin

Exercise regime and aerobic gardening reduces the pain, t.b.t.G. We came up to Awhitu yesterday and were able to get into the garden today, the weather being kind.

God;s Presence

Judy and I walked up to our local corner dairy for a weekend newspaper, mainly for the cryptic crossword.
Its a bit of a slog the first uphill part, so I prayed and was buoyed by Gods presence which lasted all day.
Judy had difficulty at dinner time though: troubled by pain from the TMJ (disfunction and pain in the jaw joint) she's been experiencing in the last week.  :(

Come Kneel before trhe Lord your maker

Psalm  95  that I read this morning said  "Come let us  kneel before the Lord  our  Maker " Theres some resistance to this I think : its a little unmanly, But if we think of our Lords continual help to us through Jesus especially the healing and salvation, then we have a real impetus to kneel in gratitude. and humility. Thats  how I feel today.

We are planning to spending more time in Cockle Bay (CB), which is in Auckland City, now that summer holidays are, by consensus  (schools have started) over. I feared I would not have in CB the scope, since it is a small lot, I have in Awhitu,  for aerobic gardening, where I puff and sweat for an hour or so. However today I started on weed eradication and that served. In New Zealand  plants that grow quite quietly in other places in the world just takeover here and are "weeds", some like Wild Ginger even "notified". Theres a lot to do even in our small lot!
